Ask Amy: When the welcome mat becomes a doormat

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 18:37:17 GMT

Dear Amy: I’m a 53-year-old woman. Because of a stressful job I’ve had for the last 20 years, I have some friends, but making new ones can be a struggle when I’ve had to work 14- to 17-hour days.More recently, I’ve tried to reach out to two women I’ve known for a while. BALTIMORE (AP) — With J.K. Dobbins lost for the season because of a torn Achilles tendon, the Baltimore Ravens are again facing some major questions about their backfield. That injury did not prevent them from opening the season with a double-digit win.Justice Hill scored twice in the second half after Dobbins’ exit, and the Ravens pulled away for a 25-9 victory over Houston on Sunday. Stroud and the Texans out of the end zone.“There’s so many things that we need to work on and get better at, and that’s what we’ll do starting on Monday,” coach John Harbaugh said. “I’m excited with the win. I’m proud of the way the guys played.”Dobbins ran for an early touchdown before leaving with his injury, which Harbaugh said after the game would cost him the rest of the season. He had 22 yards on eight carries. Jac...

Nine road teams won, including five underdogs.Joe Burrow, fresh off becoming the highest-paid player in league history, had one of his worst games as a pro.
